Ramona Rung, Face Painter and Storyteller

Over 2 years ago I visited in Halifax. Being a storyteller, I was fascinated by the popular tugboat that lives there, Theodore the Tugboat. He is like Thomas the Tank Engine in the USA.

So, as a face painter, I was offered a free "be in the boat parade" in 2011. How thrilled I was to discover I was actually "ON" the very same tugboat I fell in love with while in Halifax.

Then, a tall handsome man, I was told the owner and Captain, was having his photo taken, so I stepped aside. Someone said, "No, HE wants his photo taken with YOU". I have a copy of the photo, and now am wondering if "Theodore" will again be in the 2012 parade.

I just wish I knew how to be "IN" the parade once more. Last year will always remain a fabulous memory for me. I painted lots of faces, was given tips, but best of all, got a DVD of "Theodore" and watched his movie in the upstairs loft with a couple of close friends of the Captain.

Now how much luckier could I possibly be? Plus they all loved me and my work as well.!!!! I had the best parade views and loved every minute of the amazing lights!!
