Museum of Discovery and Science
Who knew science can be fun? Kids and adults will love the

IMAX Theater
This is located inside the Museum of Discovery and Science. Watch
nature documentaries, feature blockbuster movies or even concerts in
this giant screen.
Wannado City
Sadly, the town for Kidizens closed its doors forever on January 2011. But we kept this page so that we'll always remember it.

child can become a journalist for a few hours, make believe that he's

Young at Art Children's Museum
They just opened up the bigger and better YAA Museum and it's great! This museum has lots of arts and craft
things to do to keep your little ones busy in a nurturing environment.
Stranahan House
Close to Las Olas Boulevard. This Ft Lauderdale attraction will tell
you how the city all began with the story of Frank and Ivy Stranahan.
Old Fort Lauderdale
If you're interested in more Fort Lauderdale history, visit this
attraction that's part of Riverwalk. The tour includes The New River
Inn, the King-Cromartie House and a 1899 Replica School House. There is a
short walk outside to get from one building to another.
Flamingo Gardens
This beautiful 60 acre garden can really give you a sense of the
natural Florida. Highlights include the aviary, a tram tour and the
Flamingo Pond. The garden gift shop will also make you want to take
tropical plants home.
River Boat Cruises
Want to see Fort Lauderdale by boat? Catch one of the river boat cruises
that tour the New River See huge mansions along the banks of the canals
and understand why the city is nicknamed the "Venice of America".
Air Boat Rides
It's hard to believe that at one point, everything in South Florida
most probably looked a lot like the Everglades. Take an airboat tour to
see alligators and the famous river of grass.
Ft Lauderdale Jet Ski Rental

Bonnet House
This is a little gem that gives you a glimpse of Fort Lauderdale
history. The interesting thing is, it’s located very close to one of the
busiest beaches in the city. The main house tour is done all indoors
but you can also stroll the gardens outdoors.
Butterfly World
Watch butterflies flit and flutter all over the aviary. This attraction
also includes very impressive gardens, fountains, birds and other
insects.
