The best Sunday outing we’ve had in a long time. Riverwalk was crowded with people – locals and out-of-towners alike. Dogs, too! Great atmosphere and happy music from live bands. And it’s free! Bring a cooler with your picnic brunch and blanket or folding chairs and come early to get a prime spot by the New River.
Wow! The City of Hollywood has something planned pretty much every day of the week. Check out the ongoing family events for this city below and head on out to the one that strikes your fancy:

- Music and Dancing Under the Stars
Anniversary Park, Hollywood Boulevard at N. 20th Avenue
5 pm – 9 pm every Friday
For the little ones who love clowns, magic, face painting and the like.
Hollywood Boulevard between Young Circle and N. 21st Avenue
10 am – 3 pm, every first Sunday of the month
Feeling nostalgic for pre-1976 cars? This is the place to be. Keep in mind that these are antique cars so make sure the kids don’t climb all over them! There are fun activities organized for the kids.
Hollywood Beach Broadwalk and Johnson Street
7:30 pm – 9 pm every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
Maybe a little too late for school-age children on a weekday night but good to check out during the times when they have no school or during the summer when it’s light out longer.
